Providing free of charge soccer opportunities to young people is not the only thing that the KP4FP offers.
One of the main objectives of the program is to allow high school aged participants to become directly involved within their very own communities. They are able to help their younger peers better understand the importance of helping others, while also educating them about social issues, such as, homelessness, hunger, and substance abuse. Through peer to peer leadership, it is our goal to educate young people about different cultures and societies throughout the world in order to bridge gaps, both locally and globally, regardless of religious beliefs, race, or socioeconomic backgrounds so that the next generation can help create a stronger future for all. |
We have seen a growing demand for one on one training and mentorship. We have worked with some athletes who are solely focused on receiving specified position or skills training connected to their personal soccer growth, but we have also worked with athletes who are interested in not only their skill growth, but guidance and mentorship for areas of their lives such as school, peer to peer relations, and social and emotional well-being.
Our UKSD team contains coaches with vast backgrounds and specialties, and we are dedicated to helping meet the needs of each individual. This is a concept we have come to honor and recognized; each and every child is an individual. We work with both the player and parent/ guardian to assess areas of need, create an action plan, and implement that plan to the best of our abilities. |
